Wicks executed soil improvement for the Pearl Jumeirah coastal development project in Dubai, located west of Port Rashid. More than 10,000,000 m3 of reclamation soil has been compacted. The soil is compacted to increase the load-bearing capacity and to reduce residual settlement. Wicks deployed 2 vibrocompaction rigs and a surface compaction roller.
