Marine drilling and blasting equipment

We have several containerised drilling rigs which can be shipped to marine drilling and blasting projects worldwide. The rigs can be installed on a local barge or platform for drilling operations. The drilling mast on our rigs can be lowered to allow accurate drilling in difficult circumstances.

We also developed two entirely new drilling rigs in 2012. The new system couples and uncouples the drilling rods automatically. We will be able to drill on greater depths and to defeat the forces caused by waves and current. It will lead to shorter drilling cycles with use of less personnel.

We work continuously to upgrade and modernise our equipment. For example, in 2012 we worked together with Fugro Seacore to develop an innovative walking jack-up platform. Known as the WaveWalker 1, it is ideal for working in rough seas. The WaveWalker 1 has eight spud poles that allow it to ‘walk’ from one drilling location to another even in a heavy swell.
